Castle Pressure Relief Dampers automatically relieve excess pressure within duct systems to maintain optimal operating pressure and prevent damage to HVAC equipment. They open when internal duct pressure exceeds a calibrated threshold, releasing air to reduce pressure, then close automatically when pressure normalizes. Critical for systems with VAV boxes and variable speed drives.
