Description
Product Description
Castle Curtain Fire Registres are passive fire protection devices installed in duct penetrations through fire-rated walls et floors. Le curtain-style blade drops by gravity when le fusible link melts at 72°C, sealing le duct opening et preventing fire spread through le HVAC system. Available in 1.5-hour et 3-hour fire ratings per UL 555 et BS EN 1366-2.

Tested et certified per UL 555 pour 1.5-hour et 3-hour fire ratings — meets international building codes.
Dynamic Rated
Closes against airflow up to 2000 fpm — no need to shut down HVAC avant closure.
Gravity Fail-Safe
Fusible link release triggers gravity drop — no power, moteurs ou controls required pour closure.
Manual Reset
Field-accessible reset mechanism — no replacement parts needed after testing ou activation.
